In 1925, Bernhard Steinel founded Bernhard Steinel Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG – the cornerstone of a successful business. Both nationally and internationally, the name STEINEL quickly became synonymous with quality. Since 1981, STEINEL Normalien AG has been offering "everything from a single source" in the field of standard parts and meets the high quality standards of its customers. In 2009, with the founding of STEINEL Aktivelemente GmbH in the Allgäu, STEINEL's range of tool shop services was expanded to include progressive stamping and Bihler technology. STEINEL evolved from a supplier of standard parts to a systems provider.
